Until every woman wakes up to a new day filled with peace in her heart and prosperity in her home, our power and potential as a sisterhood will be limited. True solidarity requires that we ascend together. Sometimes I will need to carry your bag, and sometimes you will need to share your water. There may be times when the only thing one of us can offer is encouragement and the reassurance that the view at the top is worth the struggle.
